Grant Inquiry & Funding

What we do

Boston Bridges Initiative awards grants that support activities beyond the classroom. These grants foster lasting friendships and dialogue among students and families within racially diverse communities and between suburban and urban communities. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis with a $5,000 per calendar maximum per district.

Grant Criteria

We examine the following criteria when applying for grants:

  1. Is the activity (or activities) developed for the purpose of cross-cultural connection?

  2. Does it promote meaningful social interaction between suburban and urban students/families and/or within diverse communities?

  3. Does it seek to serve students from Kindergarten through 12th Grade?

If so, please see the application process below.
